It was very modern, yet it still sounded distraught enough to be apocalyptic. The cinematography is very well-executed, and the lighting sets the mood. She gets in Cassie’s shoes, and it is evident that she was hurting like Cassie was. The acting was spot on, especially from Moretz. It made me cry, because all the steps were done properly. The movie gives a clear sense of the disasters going on around the world and how serious this invasion is. The first 20 minutes were very promising.
